Over 25 years Sales, Sales Management, Marketing and Operations Experience. Prior to starting ZZ Sales Systems, Inc., Tom was an RVP Sales and then an independent sales consultant for Miller Heiman, a premier sales process consulting firm for 20 years.
As a consultant, Tom collaborates with Fortune 1000 companies to help them build exceptional sales organizations—improving their sales effectiveness and consistently growing their top-line results through proven sales tools and processes. His extensive background in sales management and marketing gives him insight to the trends and needs of the many industries, particularly Healthcare, High Tech, Telecommunications, Financial Services, and Insurance.
As a Sales Consultant, Tom has developed a strong expertise in the sales leadership and coaching processes required to develop high performing teams. Additionally, he has implemented Call planning, Opportunity planning and Account management in a wide variety of clients within diverse vertical segments and has a keen sense of how to ensure execution of any sales process.
Prior to Miller Heiman, Tom held a variety of Sales Management and Marketing positions in several Telecommunications companies including MCI and McLeodUSA where he was responsible for leading/directing new business development as well as serving as a lobbyist on Telecommunication issues.
He has also instructed, at the university level, in the areas of operations, behavioral science, and management. His students consistently rated him as being in the top two percent of all instructors.
Tom holds a Master of Arts in Management from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida.
